This folder contains the cross-posted papers that are part of the PEP program. As is typical with academic conferences and throughout its 31-year history, AMCIS requires that at least one author of every accepted paper registers for the conference and presents the paper in-person onsite. We understand that travel restrictions, medical/illness, or given the current political climate, some authors may have serious limitations and/or concerns regarding their ability to travel to the conference. As a result, a Presentation Exception Program (PEP) was created. Requests were reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the number of exceptions was limited and acceptance was not guaranteed. If a knowledgeable co-author or colleague was unable to present the paper on-site on the author's behalf, then the author could request a PEP with the following conditions; (a) The paper is included in the AMCIS 2025 proceedings (and cross-posted to the asynchronous track). (b) An author-video presentation is created and added onto the article's landing page in the AIS eLibrary (c) One author of the paper must register for the conference (d) The authors must participate in AuthorConnect (for at least one session, so that the paper is still presented).
