Abstract

Due to revolutionary changes related to digital transformation (DT), the business environment has become more competitive and the massive increase in data has gotten harder to manage. In this sense, an increasing number of researchers are emphasizing the importance for organizations to develop Big Data Analytical Capabilities (BDACs). The literature highlights that BDACs help capture meaningful information and turn it into internal knowledge, which boosts innovative decisions. Although both DT and BDACs are thoroughly discussed in academic literature, there is limited research examining their relationship. This paper aims to bridge this gap through an exploratory study that utilizes a Systematic Literature Review. Building on findings related DT and BDACs concepts, this paper recommends employing more descriptions and varied methodologies to enhance the exploration of relationship between DT and BDACs. It concludes by outlining some limitations and future research.
