AMCIS is once again returning to Latin America! This research-in-progress study provides a brief review of information systems (IS) research with Latin American relevance during the past four years. It showed that the majority of the studies focused on IT innovation and digital government, with Brazilian and Mexican cases being prominent. Further research is needed to examine the phenomenon of IS research trends in the region.
