Description
Theories such as antecedent-privacy concern-outcome (APCO) has been recognized as a prominent framework that focus on factors that lead to and derive from privacy concern. However, there is still a lack of research on other possible constructs surrounding privacy concern such as the role that Privacy Calculus and Protection Motivation Theory may serve in the formation of a grander theory. The purpose of this paper is to explore this specific research question; given the abundance of existing privacy-related theories, is there a grander theoretical framework that can be combined and empirically explored around privacy concern.
