Description

The aim of the paper is identification of factors that explain the use and user satisfaction with University Study-Oriented System (USOS), implemented as a standard software in various Polish universities. The theoretical framework is based on DeLone and McLean Updated IS Success Model (DeLone and McLeen 2003). The original model was extended with two additional constructs, introducing two indirect feedback loops and the modification of the Intention to use/Use construct. The comparative studies were undertaken using the samples selected among the students of two state-owned universities of economics and business in Poland. In the process of model estimation, reliability and validity analysis and testing mediation effects, the multi-group structural equation modelling with latent variables was used. The results of the study indicate that no statistical difference exists in the perception of IS success between the analyzed universities.
