Business-IT alignment is an important dimension for the success of today's organizations, yet it is not fully understood and its impact on form performance remains elusive. In this study, we propose to examine two important types of alignment: strategic and operational and investigate their antecedents, consequents, as well as relevant mediators and moderators.
