Description
Using the Chen, Mocker, Preston, and Teubner (2010) study titled Information Systems Strategy: Reconceptualization, Measurement, and Implications as a guide, we investigate if any published literature since 2010 utilize the measures, the typology, and the conceptions identified in Chen et al., (2010). We seek to identify IS Strategy literature from leading IS journals and explain the impact from Chen et al.. (2010) that is found. Our results demonstrate that much of the discourse postulated in the Chen et al.. (2010) study remains in the information systems (IS) strategy research domain and that indeed there are several studies that extend and/or utilized various findings originating from the Chen et al. (2010) study.
