Description
In recent years, more higher education students are completing at one of their courses in a totally online format. For many engineering and technology courses, some of the assignments given in these courses require students to work together in groups. Most colleges and universities do not provide dedicated secure storage for this purpose, and instead leave the responsibility of choosing such storage to the students, who are often untrained in determining what constitutes a secure file storage system. This paper discusses the pros and cons of many of the most popular Cloud-based storage sites, and then offers the design for a dedicated secure file sharing system to serve this purpose.
