Abstract
As digital technologies reshape business and society, corporate digital responsibility (CDR) is gaining recognition as a critical framework that connects technological advancement, economic outcomes, and sustainable development. Its adoption is increasingly seen as a necessary response to the ethical and social challenges of the digital age. There is an ongoing debate over whether CDR should be integrated within corporate social responsibility or treated as an independent concept, leading to varied definitions and approaches. This paper reviews and synthesises existing CDR literature to address this conceptual ambiguity. The findings indicate a convergence around a set of recurring themes, which are further mapped against a set of core dimensions that reveal the breadth and depth of CDR in practice. Together, they provide a solid foundation for a unified definition of CDR that reflects its relevance and potential for integration into business practice and policy.
