Abstract

This paper presents a framework for utilising GenAI to generate value for stakeholders. It explores a range of problems, starting with well-defined issues that lead to acceptable solutions and ending with what are commonly known as wicked problems. It offers guidelines for prompt strategies tailored to different types of problems. These guidelines are based on methods that support creative thinking, which is necessary for various problem levels, and how GenAI can facilitate this learning. Often, solutions create new conflicts that necessitate ongoing compromises among stakeholders. The focus then shifts to continuously aligning stakeholder values and selecting solutions with minimal conflict. The emphasis is on prompt strategies to find knowledge, identify conflicts, and quickly achieve alignment. The paper further provides guidelines for developing effective prompt strategies. It also proposes a design for accessing knowledge and utilising this knowledge to harmonise stakeholder values in a way that satisfies all parties.
