Abstract
This study investigates the design preferences of young adults for cardiovascular health applications to enhance their knowledge and awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD). An online survey evaluates current CVD knowledge levels and app usage patterns among young adults, revealing a significant gap in awareness about their vulnerability to CVD. The findings highlight the need for tailored health app interventions that cater specifically to this demographic. By analyzing user feedback on design features and functionality, the study develops checklists for creating effective health apps. These guidelines aim to improve user engagement and adherence to healthy practices. Ultimately, this research provides valuable insights into the role of information systems in health education and the importance of user-centered design in health technology.
