Abstract
Components of emotional resilience make up the leading employability skills in 2023, as defined by the World Economic Forum. However, there is no empirical evidence that traditional teaching methods can sufficiently develop emotional resilience. The pedagogical use of Business Simulation games is a contemporary technique known to enhance students’ high order thinking skills. There is a gap in literature on using Enterprise Resource Planning simulation games to build emotional resilience in higher education students. This research-in-progress uses quantitative research methodologies to examine the role of ERP simulation games in promoting Emotional Resilience among Australian Information System students.
