Abstract
Deployment of e-business technologies promise many organizational benefits. If these benefits are to be realized and the inhibitors to successful deployment are to be overcome then a number of success factors must be present. This paper reports on an investigation of 7 large companies operating in Australia. Specifically, it reports on the nature and importance of the success factors for each company within the conceptual frameworks of the Value Chain and the Competitive Forces Model.
