Abstract
This research draws on the theory of planned behaviour to investigate the factors that are related to students’ occupational and academic pursuits in computing. The findings of this research may help manpower planners, educators, and career counsellors understand why students are attracted to the computing profession. Effective plans can then be established to relieve the shortage of computer professionals. This study has collected the required data for analysis. The researcher will present the results during the conference.
