Abstract

Knowledge management is an essential component of modern enterprise's digital transformation. With the expansion of mobile technology in the last decade, an increasing number of knowledge management operations in businesses have been undertaken in a mobile environment. Knowledge management in a mobile context differs significantly from knowledge management in a traditional PC-based environment. This paper reviewed key literature and findings in mobile knowledge management. The literature was classified into two sections: strategic/managerial and technical/applications. We identified 32 journal papers, 68 conference/workshop proceedings, 8 book chapters, and 2 thesis and white papers contributing to mobile knowledge management research topic from 1999 to 2020.
