Abstract
The manuscript contributes to the existing literature by offering a nuanced exploration of generative AI's (GAI) impact on the future of work, emphasizing both opportunities and challenges. It advances the discourse by first conducting a review of prominent literature to find the emergent themes with GAI: augmentation and Automation, job creation and displacement, ethical and regulatory challenges, and promise and perils. The analysis involves network affinity analysis to allow for a deeper understanding of how these topics are interconnected and frequently co-discussed, thus enriching the narrative surrounding AI's transformative potential.
