Description
Information security management (ISM) is a comprehensive management technique used to address risks and breaches of security incidents that threaten confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Incidents and threats to organizations continue to rise, causing them to suffer losses and jeopardizing their reputations. One of the common problems in the Capital Market as an important part of the financial sector is the lack of guidelines for understanding the factors influencing the effectiveness and efficiency of ISM. This qualitative multiple case study research investigates the factors influencing ISM in the Capital Market. The research identified nineteen success factors that influence ISM in the Capital Market. The factors are presented as a conceptual framework for ISM implementation. The study findings identify Middle Eastern culture as a unique factor that plays a significant and influential role in ISM implementation in line with cultural considerations.
