Since the advent of smart phone and devices, ubiquitous computing has begun to be been realized in reality. These ubiquitous technologies begun to permeates the daily lives of ordinary individuals by linking information systems that had been developed as information islands. As information technologies and systems are becoming ubiquitous, everybody is now becoming users of technologies and technological services. User typologies developed till now mostly concerned about users in specific domains, such as SNS or mobile phone or specific application. As understanding users is critical not only to understand their needs for new services, but also to comprehend the complex interactive patterns of users using services in IoT age. A typology of IT service users could reduce complexity of understanding user behavior by finding common patterns of users based on their motivation, thought, and actual use. In this study, we have developed a comprehensive user typology via a meta synthetic analysis of research across domains. Using systematic literature review, we collected and analyzed 32 user typologies from 2010 to 2015. As a result, total 14 user types were identified and presented with proposed underlying dimensions.
