Description
Green IT has become an emerging topic in IS field. While several studies have addressed Green IT related questions, few of them has addressed the Green IT practices. With that concern, this paper proposed a framework to categorize the Green IT practices and examined the Green IT practices disclosed in corporate sustainability reports (CSRs). Using content analysis, a total of 30 corporate sustainability reports in ICT industry that included in the 2014 Fortune 500 were examined. A quantity-quality framework for assessing the CSR is developed and applied to measure and assess the disclosures of Green IT practices among the selected samples.
