The Benelux Chapter of AIS (BENAIS), founded in 2007, is an AIS chapter serving Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. In line with the overall mission of AIS, the BENAIS Chapter will promote interaction and knowledge exchange amongst scholars and professionals engaged in the implementation, management, and use of information and communication technology (ICT) in organisations (both private- and public-sector).

The Dutch Research School SIKS, in cooperation with BENAIS, organizes a Dutch/Belgian Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (EIS). The purpose of EIS is to bring together Dutch/Belgian researchers interested in the advances and business applications of information systems - a broad field, including topics such as Management Information Systems, E-Business, IS Analysis and Design, Requirements Engineering, Business Innovation, Knowledge Management, Business Process Management, Product Software Development, Coordination and Communication, Collaborative Information Systems, Business/IT Alignment, Architectures for IKS and many others.
