Description
e-Justice, also called cyberjustice, refers to the incorporation of information and communication technologies (ICT) into the justice system. This includes offering court services via electronic means as well as other digital services for dispute resolution purposes. The objective of this study is to explore the potential contribution of e-justice as one of the components of e-democracy to socioeconomic development. Based on the analysis of the examples of e-justice initiatives, an initial, conceptual framework that links socioeconomic development with e-justice is constructed.
