Have young adults abandoned Facebook? This study explores several possible factors of social media migration by young adults. A theoretical framework is proposed to examine potential factors that influences young adults’ decision to migrate their use of social media. The study employs an online survey to identify the extent to which young adults’ attitudes and social norm influence their behavioral intention to abandon social media platforms. Moreover, the study proposes to examine whether fake news and privacy concerns could have influenced young adults’ migration choices of social media.
