Abstract

Various types of technologies have been referenced widely in research on international business, including information technology (IT) and information communication technology (ICT). Studies so far have focused on the relationship between IT factors and business benefits. However, relatively little attention has been paid to the effect of ICT on countries’ logistic performances. To fill this gap, we addressed the research question, “What is the impact of ICT on global logistic performance?” In this paper, we examined the influence of ICT penetration on countries’ logistic performance using Logistic Performance Index from the World Bank.
