Description
This review has synthesized the literature exploring the relationships between IT artifacts and knowledge sharing activities. Extant literature has shown that the effectiveness of IT artifacts is demonstrated through the outcome of knowledge sharing activities, which can further generate valuable insight in improving technological deployment. The interplay of IT artifacts, knowledge sharing activities and knowledge management strategies has emerged from the findings of reviewed papers. A research framework illustrating the focal phenomena is proposed and future research directions are discussed.
