Description
Requirements are often cited as one of the important factors in determining project success. Over the past 30 years requirements practice has changed. The new requirements engineering is facing new problems of complexity and continuous change. To address this New RE, researchers have proposed a new Six-V measurement model. This study provides an operationalization of the Six-V model and then uses it to analyze 31 open source projects. The results show that many of the Six-V measures are related to project attraction, which is important for open source project success.
