Description

The paper investigates solutions incorporated by companies to overcome problems occurring during enterprise system (ES) adoption. It draws from the experience of Polish practitioners who participated in ES implementations. Following grounded theory approach and incorporating open and axial coding the solutions given by respondents were classified into 14 main categories and their distribution across the system lifecycle was analyzed. The research revealed uneven distribution of solutions from different categories across the system lifecycle and an in-depth analysis of this distribution resulted in practical guidance for companies that consider ES implementation._x000D_
