Abstract
This paper provides a brief description of Structured Content Analysis methodology, outlines its procedure, and argues that it can be successfully employed in management information systems (MIS) research to analyze the contents of web-sites of large corporations. With structured questionnaires and properly trained coders, content analysis can be useful in evaluating the quality and variety of information available on the web-sites with objectivity of analysis and flexibility of interpretation.
