Abstract
Based on self-organization theory and combined with organization theory system science, this research divides regional innovation system (RIS) into four sub -systems including policy support system, R&D system, technology diffusion system and technology application system. By building the coordinating degree model of com- of com-posite system, this paper measure the co-evolution status of RIS of 30 provinces from 2008-2012 in China. Finally, this research draws a map of co-evolution status of regional innovation and analyzes the differences. The empirical results show that the overall level of RIS is not high, especially the policy support and technology application subsystems are much lower than the other two subsystems. According to the evaluation criteria, most provinces in central and western regions are divided into ed into weak synergy level. The results imply that in order to improve the co-evolution level of innovation system, each evolution level of innovation system, each subsystem needs simultaneous development.
