Abstract
In this paper we analyze a process improvement project in detail and propose a generic framework for process improvementthrough process simplification. It involves simplification of relevant policies, simplification of procedures and alignment ofprocess execution teams along policy, process and systems. The simplification framework can be very helpful in processimprovement efforts where extensive data is not available and quick results are expected.
