Abstract
In this document we present the process and future study of the development of an online new faculty orientation course designed to address the information needs of first year faculty. Through the structure of an Instructional Systems Design course, a team of graduate students designed a working prototype in Moodle, a course management system, and conducted preliminary acceptance / usability testing.
