Abstract
Since some years, a lot of integrated firms management software packages exist on the market. The principle of those information systems is to manage all the firm's functions by data-processing transactions. They were recently replaced by software packages called "ERP" : Enterprise Resource Planning. Are these software packages in accordance with firms' needs ? Are they better adaptable to the distinctive features of each organization ? Were the first experiences described in the article useful to define information systems more harmoniously integrated on physical flows and on firms management interfaces ? Today, the pressure of time, new stake of industrial and commercial organizations, makes essential the delays management. Are the ERP perfectly prepared to that ? The article shows that the choice of integrated software packages is still a difficult and risky deal and proposes that software packages be chosen according to the typology of physical flows.
