The power of emoji and emoticon has been investigating for many years in social media. However, the existing literature mostly overlook the importance of emoticon and text simultaneously. This research proposed a model that take into consideration the sentiment of emoticon and text on Facebook and estimated the number for demonstrating the power on social media. We used Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as the examples to analyze followers’ behavior on Facebook.
