Abstract
Capital flow analysis is used to investigate IS projects in a developing economy with the view that it can also be used as a diagnostic tool for understanding project success or failure and anticipating problems. The capital flow analysis is based on ecosystem theory. Cases were taken from a developing economy for further empirical understanding. Data collection was done via interviews, observation and document review. The analysis of the cases and their comparison illustrates the value of using capital flow analysis to understand project success.
