Abstract

Visualization has drawn a considerable amount of attention in the design of complex and large-scale systems. Along with the advance of software and hardware engineering, this trend has been expedited. A variety of information seekers such as scientific investigators, library patrons, consumers, or decision makers using information systems interact more easily and effectively with visualized information systems. This paper intends to investigate some of the issues and research agenda in this newly emerging area where visualization and information system design intersect
