Description

The term Internet of Things (IoT) is widely used and discussed. However, there is still no scientifically generally valid definition and therefore no uniform understanding of the term in practice. To counteract this, we present a possibility to limit the term with the help of applications in the IoT environment. Specifically, we analyze the use of IoT along the value chain of companies by conducting a structured literature analysis.
