Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyse a system which groups conceptual methodologies, hardware, software and which supplies decision processes. After insisting on the consequences of the process which goes from data to information and finally to knowledge, we analyse Datawarehouses on their nature, structure and environment. Then we give an example of an implementation. At the end, we examine near future prospects of Datawarehouse.
