Description

This study examines how the AI Nursing Report System, conceptualized as a technological job resource within the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) model, together with AI literacy as a personal resource, influences nurses’ work engagement and well- being. Survey data were collected from 100 nurses working in high administrative workload units at a regional teaching hospital in Taiwan. The results show that perceived AI nursing report system quality and AI literacy significantly enhance engagement in nursing administration. In turn, engagement in nursing administration positively influences job satisfaction and work life balance, whereas job stress shows no significant effect on these outcomes. These findings highlight that both technological resources and employees’ AI literacy jointly shape nurses’ engagement in administrative tasks, suggesting that effective AI implementation in healthcare requires not only system deployment but also capability development.
