Description
Interracial relationships are increasingly common, with online dating playing a significant role. This study examines how algorithmic transparency and inclusivity in dating apps affect user appreciation, perceived fairness, and openness to interracial dating. The authors hypothesize that increased transparency and inclusivity will enhance algorithm appreciation and perceived fairness, which, in turn, will positively influence openness to interracial dating. Using quantitative survey data, the authors investigate these relationships. This research contributes to the understanding of how fairness-driven algorithmic design can promote inclusive and equitable online dating, offering insights for future design interventions.
