Description
Based on the leveraging perspective, this study examines how team members build on each other’s strengths and collaborate by utilizing all members’ strengths. This study validates “team HR (human resource) leveraging capability” as a reflective-formative construct. HR leveraging capability is the ability of a team to know how to leverage the expertise of other members to accomplish specific tasks and achieve specific goals. It will be operationalized with three first-order constructs: collaboration, team expertise, and team transactive memory. This study proposes a research model that examines the impact of team HR leveraging capability on project team agility and project performance. We also investigate whether HR leveraging capability can enhance agility by leveraging social-messaging apps' power to enhance team agility. We will adopt a survey for model validation, and the participants will be people with experience in information systems development teams.
