Abstract

Digital payment methods (DPMs) are growing steadfast but they are yet to be widely adopted specifically in the developing countries. Several studies have already been conducted on this topic for understanding antecedents of digital payments adoption. However, none of the existing research has been undertaken to understand the cumulative impact of trust and risk as predictors and antecedents in the digital payment adoption research. Therefore, this study is aimed to perform the meta- analysis of various factors that influence trust and risk and the impact of these two factors on to behavioral intentions and user satisfaction. The findings of this research would help the researchers toward using trust, risk and their associated factors as potential constructs in the future conceptual model in the digital payment adoption research.
