Abstract
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform business operations, the ability to design and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs)-based applications is becoming an essential skill across industry. This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Dify.ai, an open-source, low-code platform for building AI-powered agents. Grounded in Kolb’s Learning Theory, the session guides attendees through the development of two practical business applications: a sales agent capable of handling customer inquiries, and a customer services agent designed to manage product inquiries and a customer service agent for managing support requests and refunds. Participants engage in iterative, problem-centered tasks that incorporate key concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), function calling, and API integration. By combining theoretical grounding with real-world application, the workshop fosters a deeper understanding of how LLMs can be harnessed to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency in business contexts. No prior experience with Dify.ai is required, although familiarity with LLMs is recommended.
