Abstract

Cloud computing has become much more popular in recent years. One of the critical issues in cloud computing is cybersecurity. There needs to be a set of good cybersecurity data governance practices. This research is going to propose a framework for cybersecurity data governance in the cloud computing environment. The study objective is to provide guidance to organizations on how to establish effective and proper cybersecurity data governance in cloud computing to manage cybersecurity risk and implement the good practices to ensure the data security in adoption and operation of the cloud computing. The research framework proposed by this research for data security governance in cloud computing including the flowing categories: cybersecurity overall data governance, cloud computing data security management, cloud computing data security implementation, organizational and managerial perspectives and data security assessment and continues improvement.
