Abstract
We analyze the evolution of the research on the impact of Big Data (BD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Data-driven business models (DDBM). Through a bibliometric analysis of publications from 2000 to 2023 sourced from the Web of Science (WoS) database, the analysis highlights the increasing interest from researchers since 2017. The countries contributing the most to the research in the field are China, United States, and India, with the United States leading the rank in international collaborations. We see a rising interest in "Big Data" with a significant increase in publications from 2020. Moreover, the temporal intersection of the keywords "Big Data-Management-Artificial Intelligence" indicates a trend towards their synergistic study. Finally, a thematic map outlines the emerging nature of the topic, pointing out that DDBMs and AI are still analyzed separately, thus highlighting the need for future research on their synergies.
