Abstract
This research explores the flow dynamics of digital innovation ecosystems, focusing specifically on the digital health sector. Drawing on the emerging flow-oriented perspective on digital transformation, we approach digital innovation ecosystems as self-organizing patterns of transformation. The study uses qualitative data from a Danish venture studio specializing in digital health ventures. It identifies three interweaving, co-responsive flows that orient transformation: psychosomatic flows of bodies, flows of biodata, and flows of medical research. The findings offer preliminary insights into how digital innovation ecosystems transform, highlighting the importance of understanding ecosystems as ongoing processes rather than fixed structures.
