Description
Information management is a resurgent topic due to continual digital innovation. More than ever, senior management must thoroughly understand information management to achieve a digital business advantage. This article assesses organizational information management from the senior executive’s perspective. We summarize senior executives’ recommendations for promoting an information orientation and effective information use as well as assessing information use. Building upon these recommendations, we develop practical guidelines for companies’ effective information management.
