Abstract

The rapid advancement of AI and automation is reshaping virtually every facet of contemporary business and society. Simultaneously, these emerging technologies also give rise to complex challenges for individuals and organizations to navigate. These challenges range from ensuring data privacy, and mitigating bias and discrimination, to maintaining transparency, trust, fairness and autonomy. Moreover, these challenges are differently perceived depending on the stakeholders involved. Our paper proposes a comprehensive framework that provides practical guidance based on 12 groups of questions for stakeholders to consider. We integrated and synthesized knowledge from three areas: responsible AI, stakeholder theory, and decision-making models. Our study seeks to enrich discourses on the responsible use of AI by providing a structured approach incorporating theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
