Abstract

The Information Technology (IT) popularization occurred in recent years creates employees facilities to access information technology resources previously available only in the organization controlled environment. This phenomenon, known as consumerization of IT offers a challenge for IT Governance that have difficulties controlling the innovative capacity of employees that, bypassing information security rules through their particular devices, seek alternatives from Internet to daily routines without consulting the area responsible for IT. The research analyzes the phenomenon from intrapreneurship and IT Fashion, producing reflections on performance and IT governance.
