Abstract
This study operationalizes the organizing vision (OV) within the technology intelligence process to support a mindful adoption of IT innovations. Grounded in OV theory and technology intelligence research, this study adopts the echeloned Design Science Research (eDSR) methodology. An initial iteration across the first three echelons of the eDSR was conducted through a conceptual review of 35 OV definitions. This review identified the OV content, encompassing know-what, know-why, know-how, know-when, and know-where, as the central core component of the OV concept. The resulting initial framework offers a structured approach to transforming fragmented community discourse (containing the OV) into actionable intelligence. The expected contributions include advancing the OV theory toward practical application and providing a tool to capture OV within the technology intelligence process, thereby improving its maturity.
