Abstract
This study examines how AI-assisted VR cybersecurity training can strengthen employees’ information security behavioral intention. Drawing on the Cognitive Affective Model of Immersive Learning (CAMIL), we propose that VR system features, including immersion and interactivity, enhance trainees’ physical presence and agency, which in turn foster stronger intentions to engage in secure information behaviors. The proposed training system with ISO 27001-2022 aligned scenarios integrates a voice-based AI virtual assistant to support trainees in realistic office-based security situations, including phishing emails, password management, and device risks. By linking immersive VR features, AI-assisted guidance, and cybersecurity behavioral outcomes, the study contributes to research on behavioral cybersecurity, immersive learning, and AI-supported training design that translates immersive experience into actionable cybersecurity behavior.
