Abstract
This study examines how employee characteristics including environmental awareness, environmental knowledge, and business intelligence and analytics (BI&A) skills influence green sustainability outcomes in U.S. manufacturing firms through business intelligence and analytics technologies. Using the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory, the research proposes that the use of BI&A mediates the relationship between employee capabilities and sustainability outcomes. By integrating employees' environmental characteristics, BI&A capabilities, and green sustainability outcomes, this study addresses a critical research gap, demonstrating how intangible human resources translate into measurable environmental benefits and sustained competitive advantage.
